PeaceTech should be shaped by people who understand peacebuilding from the inside.

That includes diplomats, peacebuilders, mediators, civil society organizations, researchers, educators, journalists, and community leaders.

Many of these actors do not consider themselves technologists, and they should not be expected to become so.

Their value lies in their experience, judgement, and understanding of context. Without these perspectives, technology risks becoming detached from reality.

Pakistan-Focus

Pakistan and Bangladesh have enhanced cooperation in several areas; and defense is a priority sector.

Pakistan has supported efforts of dialogue and diplomacy over Yemen.

Any escalation between UAE and Saudi Arabia - both Pakistan's essential allies - can put Pakistan in another costly dilemma.

Pakistan's clean energy transition requires more helping hands. And the UN is willing to offer some.
