The Diplomatic Insight 2026 is Here!

Celebrating 35 years of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, alongside exclusive insights from the SCO Summit in Bishkek and the BRICS Summit in New Delhi.

Hello Reader

Tashkent has a new fountain this year, the tallest musical one in the world according to Guinness, switched on as Uzbekistan proudly marked 35 years of independence. It is a bright, fitting way to celebrate everything the country has built.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's anniversary address, which we carry in full, celebrates real progress: rising investment, new schools and hospitals, and seven new programs designed to carry that progress even further.

We also spoke with H.E. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, about turning shared history into shared success. His message is simple and hopeful: when nations work together, culture and cooperation grow stronger side by side.

That same spirit shaped Tashkent's International Media Forum, where the new Center for Islamic Civilization welcomed hundreds of journalists from around the world to see the country's heritage for themselves. Islamabad joined the celebration too, with a concert, a tourism roadshow, and a warm embassy reception honoring the occasion.

We close this issue, as always, with two of our own contributions to that same spirit of building together: the Health and Education Summit Pakistan and the new BRI Excellence Centre, both reminders that good intentions grow strongest when paired with real action.
